The Balkan Reserve was founded through a partnership between two teams: one based in Bulgaria with deep roots in a successful family business specialising in the distribution of premium food and drink products across Europe, and one based in Dubai with established experience in entrepreneurship and brand development within the UAE.

Together, we recognised an opportunity and a passion to introduce the region’s exceptional products to the Gulf. The Balkans are home to a rich heritage of winemaking, artisanal food production and natural cosmetics, much of which remains undiscovered outside the region. Our mission is to curate and deliver these high-quality, authentic goods to the UAE market.

We begin with a selection of premium wines, including organic and heritage-led producers, and plan to expand into fine foods, drinks and natural cosmetic products. Every item we choose reflects our core values:
